What software will i use?

To design a create the final electronic rendering of my product i have chose to use photoshop, not only because i have had previous experience with the software before, but also because i am eager to learn new skills and face the challenges that get thrown my way and overcome them with ease. I strongly believe that using photoshop will affect my project in wide variety of ways.

Some being:

  • Learning a new skill
  • Introduction to a new software
  • A "mature" software with very hi tech capabilities
  • Learning a different form of presenting my work, not only in ict but in various other lessons as well.
I had a total of three softwares i had in mind that could have possibly been chosen for this project and those were
  1. PhotoImpact
  2. Photoshop
  3. Paint
I eventually ruled out photoimpact and paint. The reason i ruled out paint was because it was very immature and it was a baby steps compared to the other softwares. Paint was a skill we used when we were 10 or 11, now we have to use more advanced softwares. The reason i ruled out photoimpact was simply because i had never used that software before and didnt want to waste to much time learning a completely new software. That is the reason i have chosen photoshop, because i know a bit of it but there is still a lot of room to improve and a lot skills still to learn.

  1. Zain,
While you have started the project with an introduction and a brief of what you are doing it lacks depth and analysis of the products you looked at, the pros and cons of each gear you have mentioned. In addition to that how will you test with your target audience?
your inquiring and analysing criterion displays minimal effort. Your developing ideas is not uploaded and has crossed the due date. You have just one week left to complete everything. You have to start creating the product and the brochure. Remember this is your assessment task.
    All the best!
